We joked about being the best man at each other's weddings 10+ years ago, and well, here we are! I'm a lady of my word. Plus, I don't know where I'd be without this goof. He's seen me through it all and I know he'll keep being a part of my life whether I want him there or not. I wouldn't have it any other way.
Co-best-man
Since the 6th Grade, Matt's been my best friend. At this point, Matt may know my stories better than I do – probably because he was there for most of them. I've always known Matt was going to be the Best Man at my wedding and now he's finally getting the chance.

From Cal to now, the other wonderful human I talk to on a near daily basis who morphed from quiet and easily embarrassed (of mine and Alex's antics) into a sassy, non-serial-killer bestie. Whether it's teaming up against Alex, or teaming up with Alex against Michael, I'm so happy the three of us met in college.
Co-best-man
For two decades, Conor's worn a number of hats, from my hype-man to my therapist, from my party planner to my council. I wouldn't be who I am today without him. Having Conor standing up there with me is an incredible honor, and I'm so happy he has a special place in the ceremony.

There's no one so aggravating as a sibling, yet no one as irreplaceable. While we still fight and they don't take my advice nearly as often as they should, we at least now have inside jokes, common interests, and a lot of commiseration when it comes to our parents. Happy that we bridged our seven year difference to talk every day.

Since dorming together at UB, Mike's unwavering dedication to helping me has taken him from frat houses and lecture halls to the shores of the West Coast. He's an amazing human being, and one of my favorite people on the planet.

I'm so, so, so grateful that a friendship developed with Ashley; she is an inspiration and a force of nature I'm lucky to call confidante, K-drama partner, PAX roomie, fantastic human I can always rely on for a good time, and a shoulder to lean on. Plus she understands my BTS obsession in ways no one else does.
Groomsman
In the 2nd Grade, I wrote a story about my big brother being my role model – and ever since then, I've tried to model myself after him. My love of video games, appreciation of sci-fi and fantasy and my taste in music are all thanks to him.

Meeting Nicole was purely circumstantial and yet a friendship bloomed from our love of video games and compelling narratives. She's a reminder that taking a chance and opening myself up can lead to years of genuine, mutual care. Between writing woes, book recommendations, our cats' crazy antics, and discussing life's mysteries, I'd be so much more bored and sad without our conversations in my life.

Now taller than I am and better at Call of Duty, Sean is my favorite (if only) nephew. He's got a wonderful sense of humor and wonder – having him share in this day means the world to me.

Making new friends is hard as an adult which is why I'm glad Lacie made it so easy—Buffalo is a better place with her around. Seriously, because of her warmth, kindness, and dry sense of humor, I've never felt more welcome and at home here. I'm looking forward to many more years of friendship with this amazing human. Plus I would die for her cat, Maple.

Coming back home to Buffalo has been an adjustment, but Mack has been there every step of the way for me. One of my best friends since high school, we've both been able to see each other grow and change into better people – or, well, at least more responsible people.
