For guests who plan to fly: Our wedding will take place on Maryland’s beautiful Eastern Shore. The ceremony will be held in St. Michaels, with the reception in nearby Easton, about 15 minutes away. The closest major airport is Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI), which is about a 1 hour 20 minute drive to St. Michaels. Other nearby airports include Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) and Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), both about 2 hours away depending on traffic. We recommend renting a car if you plan to fly, as ride share options on the Eastern Shore can be limited.

Where to Stay We have reserved a room block at the The Tidewater Inn, located in the heart of downtown Easton. We highly recommend staying in or around downtown Easton if possible, as it will make transportation easiest throughout the weekend.

While we do not have a room block reserved here, guests are welcome to book accommodations directly through the hotel. Vacation Rentals (Airbnb / VRBO) There are many vacation rental options available in both Easton and St. Michaels, including homes, cottages, and waterfront properties. This can be a great option for groups or families who prefer more space for the weekend. For the most convenient access to the reception and shuttle transportation at the end of the evening, we recommend looking for rentals in or near downtown Easton. Rentals in St. Michaels are also a lovely option for guests who prefer to stay closer to the ceremony.

At the end of the reception, complimentary shuttle buses will transport guests back to the Tidewater Inn. The Tidewater Inn drop-off point is also roughly 1 block from the unofficial "after-party" bar. The buses will also be able to make stops at the Hampton Inn and Fairfield Inn for guests staying there.
Travel Note
Transportation and Parking: The ceremony will take place in St. Michaels, MD, and the reception will be held in Easton, MD. These venues are about a 20-30 minute drive apart. Guests will need to arrange their own transportation to the ceremony and from the ceremony to the reception. Parking will be available at the church for the ceremony, and guests are welcome to leave their cars overnight at the reception venue, Talbot Country Club, if needed. Ride share services such as Uber and Lyft are available on the Eastern Shore, but they can be limited and sometimes unpredictable—especially on busy summer weekends. If you plan to use a ride service, we strongly recommend scheduling your ride in advance. At the end of the reception, complimentary shuttle buses will transport guests back to the Tidewater Inn in the heart of downtown Easton. This drop-off point is located 1 block from the unofficial "after-party" bar, Doc's Downtown Grille. The buses will also be able to make stops at the Hampton Inn and Fairfield Inn for guests staying there.
