Maid of Honor
The sister of the bride - Lilly met Shelby just a few years ago through their grandfather (thanks to AncestryDNA!) and have been the best of friends and the closest of sisters ever since. From late night phone calls to early morning texts, wedding planning, moving, school, and more, Shelby has been a rock for Lilly since day one.
Bridesman
The brother of the bride - Lilly used to make her little brother Emmett dress up and play "wedding" several times a week... turns out she's still asking him to do that, 25 years later, only this time it's for real. As they've grown up, they have been lucky enough to become even closer, and have learned that siblings are friends you have for life.
Bridesman
Lilly met Trevor on the first day of medical school - and they've been close friends ever since. They had each other's backs through long nights of learning anatomy and spent most of their study breaks laughing (and maybe a little bit of crying). They've enjoyed many nights of dancing away their stress and have no doubt that they are bonded for life.
Bridesman
The cousin of the bride - Alan and Lilly spent many summers with their families on beach somewhere, swimming, playing in the sand, piling into cars and driving away from hurricanes... From mini-golf to searching for the perfect ramen noodles, they grew their cousin friendship, and have remained loyal partners-in-crime ever since.
Groomsman
Achmed met Nesly during his 2nd year of residency where they bonded over being the only two Black male residents in their program, as well as their Northeastern upbringing. They motivated each other to push through the arduous stretches of medical training and through long nights over beers and Haitian food, formed a strong connection.
Groomsman
Achmed met Persey in 2010 at the University of Maryland, their sophomore year in Chemistry lab, and Persey introduced Achmed to their big group of friends who has remained close over the years. It looks like they did well in Chemistry lab, because they both went on to medical school, and have stayed the best of friends ever since.
Groomswoman
Achmed and Linda were the best of friends during their residency training. They could often be seen cracking jokes in the workpods or brainstorming study plans for their various, never-ending, exams. After graduation, the two jokesters have continued to find new ways to motive and inspire each other.
