Hotel
The couple has a room block at a discounted fee. Hotel booking forms will be sent with invites, stay tuned! ***Note*** the resort is not an all inclusive however only breakfast is complimentary! There are lots of restaurants to choose from on the resort property. As well, given the conversion rate of USD/CAD to PHP, the prices of things are much cheaper! **Water bottles will be provided in every room, the couple recommends drinking ONLY from water bottles**
Flight
To fly to the Philippines you will need to bring: - A passport, ESPECIALLY one that doesn’t expire within 6 months of traveling - eTravel registration completed online within 72hrs of departure. You must print, download, or screenshot the QR code afterwards as it will be presented before boarding your flight or upon arrival. See link - Proof of airline ticket coming to and leaving the Philippines
Travel Note
ID, passport, eTravel registration, plane tickets, cash and/or credit card, sunscreen, sunglasses and/or hats, mosquito repellant, waterproof phone case, umbrella or light rain jacket, phone chargers/power banks, lightweight clothing, walking shoes/sandals, water shoes, dry bags, essential medications I.e. hand sanitizer, tylenol, ibuprofen, stomach medicine, allergy medicine, vitamin c, etc., travel day pack, reusable water bottle (hydration is ESPECIALLY important given the humidity!), swimsuits, flip flops, compression socks (prevents leg pain, swelling, and varicose veins from the long flight!), and obviously attire for the wedding events!
Travel Note
The couple will arrange travel to and from the airport to the resort as well as to any on or off of resort property wedding events for you! Grab, the Philippines equivalent to Uber in the US, is becoming a popular option to get around which can be helpful off of resort property. The couple recommends that you set up your Grab account before leaving for the Philippines if you plan to use it. There are tricycles (a motorcycle with a passenger cab attached) to get around when off of the resort property as well. The couple strongly encourages to bring cash (Philippine peso) on you if you choose this option as that would be their main form of payment.
Travel Note
- A COVID-19 vaccine card is not required but not a bad idea to bring! - The Philippines uses 220v while the USA/Canada uses 110-130V. A plug adapter would be a good idea to bring if you have electronics that handles up to only 110-130V! - The couple recommend the latest in arriving to the Philippines on 4/16/26 to get adjusted to the major time change prior to the wedding.
Travel Note
Most places in the Philippines accepts credit cards depending on your credit card company. You can also convert CAD/USD to PHP in the USA/Canada however might be more expensive than doing so in the Philippines. There are money changer services available at the Mactan-Cebu International Airport, Shangri-La Mactan Resort, and Savemore Market Maribago (about 12 minutes from the resort)
Travel Note
- Tambuli Seaside Resort and Spa (the couple does not have a room block here)
