Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields

A three-mile loop alongside the scenic White River Canal in downtown Indy. Enjoy by foot—or rent a bike, paddleboat, Segway, scooter or gondola (yes, gondola).

White River Canal Walk Loop

Floors and floors of antiques and oddities. Wander for an hour—or several—and try not to get lost. Warning: the air conditioning is not great. Consider bringing some iced tea or iced water with you.

Midland Arts & Antiques Market

A downtown shopping and dining district right in our neighborhood. We highly recommend Silver in the City for cute, quirky finds and Garden Table for basic-B (but delicious) brunch.

Massachusetts Avenue Shops and Restaurants

Lots of fun shops and good places to eat in this neighborhood! La Marg was the site of our second date, and Nicey Treat has the city's best popsicles.
