What is the wedding attire?

Answer

Semi-formal: whatever you are most comfortable in - cocktail dresses, suits, etc... all are welcome. Avoid pointy heels as the venue is woodsy (hence the tree farm name). The average high temp. on our date is 80 and low of 60. So dress in something comfortable when the sun is out and consider a jacket as night falls.

Can I drive to and park at the venue?

Answer

Yes! The venue is about 1.5 hours from Minneapolis/St. Paul and 30 mins from Red Wing (where the hotels are). Parking: You are free to leave your car at the venue overnight and pick up on Sunday before 11am. Shuttling back to the hotels is always an option. There will be signs indicating where to park. Address: W12351 Long Ln, Stockholm, WI --Apple Maps will show the same address but in Pepin, WI... both are correct and will get you to the right place.

What is the shuttle schedule for the wedding?

BUS PICK-UP & DROP-OFF LOCATIONS: -AmericInn (1819 Old W Main St, Red Wing, MN 55066) *meet here if you are staying at AmericInn, Holiday Inn, or Nichols Inn -Country Inn & Suites (4275 US-61, Red Wing, MN 55066) -Quality Inn (752 Withers Harbor Dr, Red Wing, MN 55066) -Pepin Motel will be a central Pepin location DROP-OFF ONLY. If you choose to stay in Pepin, please drive to the venue and leave your car overnight if necessary. It is about 15 minutes from the Pepin Motel to the venue. PICKUP TIME: -AmericInn: 3:10 pm -Country Inn: 3:20pm -Quality Inn: 3:30pm IMPORTANT: The shuttle only holds ~60 guests at once and will make one trip to the venue from the Red Wing hotels. This will most likely accommodate all our traveling guests, but in the case we run out of room or you miss the bus, please drive to the venue and leave your car overnight if necessary. *Consider carpooling to the venue and leaving a vehicle overnight if possible* RETURN TIMES: -Liberty Tree Farm -> Pepin Motel, Red Wing hotels: 7:45 pm -Liberty Tree Farm -> Pepin Motel, Red Wing hotels: 11:45 pm

Are kids allowed at the wedding?

Our wedding will be an adult-only event, we appreciate you understanding!

Will the wedding be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dancing will all be outside. The dinner will be in the Greenhouse. If it rains, everything will be moved to the Greenhouse.

Where is the wedding party staying?

Answer

Libby and Bobby will be staying at the Holiday Inn (Red Wing), but encourage guests to book whichever option you prefer and is available. All hotels listed on the Travel page are nearby and shuttle stops. You are also more than welcome to camp (tent or RV) at the venue in the designated area.

If flying, what airport is recommended?

Answer

MSP (Minneapolis/St. Paul) is the closest major airport. From the airport, it is about 1hr 15min drive to the venue and 1 hour drive to Red Wing where majority of accommodations are located.

Is there anywhere else to stay besides the hotels?

Answer

Yes! If you are a large group that wants to stay together or hotels just aren't your vibe, there are tons of Airbnb and VRBO rentals in the area. We suggest those in Pepin, Stockholm, or the surrounding area to get the small-town, cabin vibe. Only downside of this option is the lack of transportation. The shuttle will make a central drop-off stop in Pepin after the wedding, but not pick-up. You are free to leave your car at the venue if you choose this option. There is also a lack of Ubers/Lyfts in the area because it is so small and quaint, consider this when booking.
