It was a random day on a yellow school bus during their freshman year of high school (they lived down the street from each other). A mutual friend at the time introduced Corina to Liam. They were friends for a few years. They talked on and off for awhile and tried dating once before but it didn’t work out that first time. Then comes junior year of high school. Corina and Liam started talking and really getting to know each other. Liam asked Corina to be his girlfriend on November 20th, 2015 and it’s been history ever since. They went through hard times but had even more great times. Liam and Corina graduated high school together. Battled long distance when Corina went to college and it was even harder when Liam joined the Navy not long after that. They made it past things not a lot of people their age could ever handle. It made them stronger and better. Liam and Corina are high school sweethearts and best friends
After Liam joined the Navy, Corina and him always talked about getting married after she graduated college. As the years past and they got to her last semester of college and Liam finished his training in South Carolina before moving to Hawaii, they figured it was time to make it official while he was in Texas. On February 23rd, 2020, Liam and Corina decided to make a trip to Downtown Houston and walked around Discovery Green. They spent the day enjoying the outside scenery and each other. Then they decided to go to the Woodlands and walk the waterway. As they were about to go home, Liam insisted they stop at this beautiful koi fish garden. Corina had always told Liam that she didn’t want a very public proposal and would be happy with something simple and intimite. After exploring and enjoying the peaceful and empty koi garden, on the way out Liam got down on one knee and proposed. Although they were already planning their courthouse wedding, the sweet proposal was still unexpected and everything she imagined. Corina was too excited and ready to see her ring (after weeks of Liam teasing her of how beautiful it was) that of course she said yes right away!
From the beginning, Corina and Liam always talked about having a simple courthouse wedding to save them the hassle of planning a big wedding until later down the road. As Liam is in the Navy and was about to leave for Hawaii, it seemed like the perfect time to finally do it. They were sure it came as a suprise to many, their parents included, but they appreciated the love and support from both their families. Although Corina and Liam kept their wedding plans quiet to most family and friends until after the courthouse ceremony, they had a day filled with love and were surrounded by family. On March 6th, 2020 Corina officially became a Crump in a San Marcos, TX courthouse. Since then, Corina has graduated college and moved to Hawaii with her new husband. Now they are living their lives and enjoying every moment together in paradise. They are both excited that they can finally share another special moment with the people they love by their side in their new island home as they prepare for this wedding ceremony and reception!
