Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! Therefore, it is an adults only ceremony & reception.

Question

What airport should we fly into? Should we rent a car?

Answer

The Pittsburgh International Airport would be the best airport. It is very easy to navigate and there are rental car booths near baggage claim. We recommend renting a car or carpooling as the airport & ceremony site is in the Pittsburgh area and the reception venue is an hour north of Pittsburgh. There is Uber & Lyft in the Pittsburgh area, but not in the Grove City/Volant area.

How far is the ceremony site from the reception venue?

Answer

Our ceremony is at Saint Barbara Catholic Church in Bridgeville, PA, which is outside of Pittsburgh. Rustic Acres Farm is about one hour north of the Pittsburgh area.

Do you recommend any hotels?

Answer

Yes! Please check out the travel and accommodations page on the site! We have recommendations near the ceremony site and the reception venue!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the reception venue?

Answer

Yes, if you booked your stay at one of our recommended hotels, there is a complimentary shuttle to & from the venue! FYI: Our venue stays true to its name, Rustic Acres....it is rustic as there are NO UBERS in the area. So if you plan to to drink, please take the shuttle!
