We're Getting Married!

Kelley and I met in January 2019 during nursing school at Texas Tech University, when a group project paired us up and quickly turned into countless late-night study sessions and an easy friendship that grew into something more. After graduation, life took us in different directions—Kelley moved to Baltimore for graduate school, and I headed back to Dallas to begin my career as a medical intensive care nurse during the height of the pandemic. Despite being separated by more than a thousand miles and being apart for weeks at a time, our resilience made our relationship even stronger. Eventually, the distance closed when Kelley moved back to Texas and began teaching at Baylor University while I continued my career at Baylor Hospital. After more than five years of long distance, we’re finally in the same place—and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this next chapter with all of you!!
