After meeting just days into freshman year at Iowa State Emma and Jakob would quickly become great friends. Having lived together for many years at school, and taking countless trips during breaks and to follow countless sports teams, they continue to be the best of friends.

After meeting in college Atlas and Lexi quickly became close friends, tagging along to each others classes, and talking about crochet. Most nights you'll likely find Lexi and Atlas calling each other and playing games together online.

Similar to Emma, Soren and Jakob also met at the same time. Being roommates with Emma freshman year. Through the four years of college they grew into a tight knit group with Jakob, Emma and Christian. Having spent a lot of their downtime as a group, Soren and Jakob became good friends. From his fish freshman year to going to New Orleans together, they've been through a lot since becoming friends.

As the Bride's brother, Luke has known Lexi his whole life and despite the classic sibling squabbles between the two they've always had each others back. Luke enjoys the outdoors and Lexi often has trouble reaching him since he's usually busy fishing, that is if he's not working.

Christian was another key man to their friend group, him and Jakob grew through a fondness for sports and other nerdy activities. Having majored in Engineering Christians day to day was quite different and busy but they all made sure to stay hanging out together. Having spent a lot of time together watching and being at sporting events, Jakob and Christian love to make a slight jab at each other, but it's all light hearted. Since graduating and being so far away they've kept in touch, and plan to meet up sometime in the future.

Despite their majors being vastly different Charlie and Lexi became great friends in college and love to travel and visit each other even after they graduated. Lexi and Charlie love discussing the stories Charlie writes and their next Comic Conventions.

Being Jakob's cousin Matt is someone who helped introduce Jakob into the things he has loved since childhood. They weren't able to see each other a lot due to living further away, however he was a key feature to his childhood, and still is a key feature in Jakob's life. Whether that be talking about sports like soccer or football, to playing video games when he is allowed to of course.

As Lexi's cousin, Claire and Lexi are in a deep battle to be the favorite, but it’s all in good fun. Claire is always Lexi’s first stop when it comes to fashion advice or a makeover. Although I don’t think she could ever convince them to get as many shoes as she has.

As the Bride's cousin, Alyssa has known Lexi for a long time. Through all that time there's been one thing that holds true about Alyssa, that she's not afraid to crack a joke and be a goofball. Anytime the two are together Alyssa is usually trying to pick Lexi up and point out just how short Lexi is.
