We're getting married!

In late 2023, Jessie & Alex both hesitantly signed up for online dating. Lucky for Alex, Jessie was his FIRST match! Jessie had recently moved to Richmond from Nashville, TN - and as a native Richmonder Alex was eager to show her all the great things the city had to offer (especially good food!). They had their first date at a local diner just down the street from their former home, and nearly closed the place down because they just couldn't stop talking. As they continued to get to know one another, everything seemed to click right into place and they knew very early on that they were meant to be - constantly saying to one another "get out of my brain!" They had found their matching puzzle piece in one other. In their first year as a couple they had several international trips, moved in together, bought a sailboat, made a few camping trips, and spent a ton of time hosting family and friends in Richmond. Jessie taught Alex how to be a beekeeper and to scuba dive, and Alex taught Jessie to run to the window every time she hears a plane or helicopter and how to maneuver a boat into a slip. Alex proposed on their one year anniversary at their home - where they shared their first kiss, first professed their love for one another, and shared their lives with their zoo of fur babies (Nacho, Pepita, Tuna, Macaroni and Cheese & Toast). Update - in year two they bought a BIGGER sailboat and a new home to grow into! They are extremely excited to tie the knot and celebrate with everyone they love, and continue building their lives, marriage, and keep growing their family!
