FAQs

Question

WHEN SHOULD I RSVP BY? HOW DO I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by October 14th, 2022. Please resubmit your RSVP online. We are not resending hard-copy invitations.

Question

CAN CHILDREN ATTEND?

Answer

Children are welcome at all events. Child care will also be available at the Sugar Bowl Resort Lodge for the Welcome Dinner (11/11) and during the Wedding Ceremony and Reception (11/12) for those who would like it. For those with infants please notify us ahead of time for Nanny Service.

Question

What events should I attend? Is the welcome dinner just for out of town guests?

Answer

Everyone is welcome at all events!

Question

WHAT TIME IS THE CEREMONY?

Answer

2:30 pm, Shuttles leave from Sugar Bowl lodge promptly at 2 pm.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We recommend dressy casual attire (casual dresses, sport coats and khakis or jeans), but guests should wear whatever they're comfortable in! We are still trying to host the ceremony outside and November is typically pretty chilly so please dress accordingly! The reception will be inside.

Question

ARE THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION LOCATION WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?

Answer

Yes!

Question

FOOD ALLERGIES?

Answer

Please let us know in your RSVP if you have any food allergies!

Question

WHAT IS HIGH ALTITUDE LIKE?

Answer

The altitude at the top of Sugar Bowl is about 8300 ft! Ascending to this height can potentially cause altitude illness for some, which has similar effects to those of a hangover: headache, tiredness, lack of appetite, nausea, and vomiting. Mild cases can be treated by alleviating symptoms (such as with painkillers for a headache) and should go away on their own within a few days. Be sure to drink plenty of fluids, and remember to be careful when drinking alcohol at high altitudes!

Question

I have some concerns about COVID. Are all events indoors?

Answer

Because we had to reschedule for November at least part of all events will be indoors. If the weather cooperates the ceremony will be outside. We completely understand if you're uncomfortable attending any events, and encourage you to make choices based on your personal comfort level (and wear a mask if you wish).
