An aufruf is a traditional Jewish ceremony prior to the wedding where the couple is called to the Torah for a blessing called an aliyah. When the blessing is completed, the entire congregation wishes them luck and happiness by throwing soft candies at them. Temple Beth Am is our spiritual home in Miami, and we are thrilled to celebrate this beautiful tradition with our local Jewish community. We invite you to join us as we are called to the bimah for a special blessing. The service will be indoors with strict masking required in our large sanctuary. Due to Temple Beth Am's current COVID-19 policy, we are not able to host a reception on site. If this changes, we invite you for a nosh and a toast after the service!

Join us the night before the wedding for a taste of the St. Pete brewery scene! We are so excited to kick off the weekend with a casual schmooze, and an opportunity for all of our guests to get to know each other. Attire is casual; come as you are! The space we have reserved is entirely outdoors, partially covered.
