Matron of Honor
Though she's just 5'2 and looks not a day over 21 (she got the good genes!), Julie is in fact Lisa's older sister by three years. She's also her best friend and confidant, and the kindest person roaming planet Earth. Lisa wanted to be just like Julie when she grew up ... and she's still trying! Julie was the only person who truly let Lisa be Lisa and loved her for it, that is until Lisa met Evan!
Best Man
Matt is Evan's oldest brother. He is someone Evan can always count on and is incredibly selfless. Matt bought Evan his first rap CD, which Evan was forced to return due to explicit lyrics.
Bridesmaid
Lisa and Natasha met on Facebook after they got into Vanderbilt. Later they found out they'd be living on the same freshman hall and somehow, even though Natasha likes green things and working out much more than Lisa, they've remained close friends ever since. When they met, a typical Friday night kicked off with cheap vodka shots in their Hank Ingram dorms. Now they're both in bed by 11pm on weekends.
Best Man
Jesse is the middle Eisman brother. He always has Evan's back and has had a big influence on Evan's life, from music to comedy to movies and more. Jesse was a guinea pig in testing his parents' limits in high school, and Evan quickly learned from Jesse's missteps.
Bridesmaid
When Lisa met Katy before moving into Vanderbilt in 2009, she wore MaryJane's and dresses that never showed her knees. After just a few months hanging together, Katy had a completely revamped wardrobe, a sign of the girls' blossoming friendship. They studied abroad together in Florence, spent summers interning in New York City, and began their post grad lives together in the Big Apple. Though Katy has since moved back to California, when they're together, it's like time never passed.
Groomsman
Evan met Brett in 5th grade, and they've been close ever since. They lived together for two years in Manhattan, where Brett witnessed Evan watch all 121 "Lost" episodes in 2 weeks.
Bridesmaid
Vicky was assigned to be Lisa's Junior Mentor during her internship at UBS in 2012. Safe to say Vicky became more of a personal than professional mentor, as they spent all of their time that summer taking walks at lunch along the Hudson River and talking about men (none that ever held a candle to Evan or Vicky's husband, Matt). Though Lisa may have been the quickest person in history to ever quit the bank's post-grad program, Vicky always supported her every decision. Lisa is grateful for every long phone call with Vicky about the trials and tribulations of guys that ghosted her on JSwipe.
Groomsman
Evan met Matt in 6th grade, when Matt thought Evan was coming over for a playdate, but Evan brought his sleeping bag and turned it into a sleepover. They have been close ever since, even though Evan does not forgive him for forgetting to click "Submit" on a Seamless order 6 years ago.
Bridesmaid
Kristen and Lisa met at UBS in the Summer of 2012 when they were in the same intern program. The two quickly bonded over their love of travel, their adventurous spirits, and their "always down for a good time" attitudes. They went on an epic 10-day Euro trip to Budapest and Oktoberfest, and after surviving that trip, plus a subsequent four-night bender in Las Vegas, it was clear their friendship could withstand anything. Though they've mostly retired their partying ways, Kristen and Lisa still throw back a bottle of wine when they're together.
Groomsman
Evan met Mike in middle school, and their friendship has blossomed into a beautiful flower. Mike is the person who inspired Evan to watch "Lost," which consumed a significant portion of Evan's life.
Bridesmaid
Shyia and Lisa met while working at AlphaSights in 2014. Let's just say it wasn't their favorite place to work, so they clung to each other for survival, plus Shyia is one of those people you can't not love the second you meet her. Shyia understands Lisa's weirdness and is equally silly and playful. Most of their time together consists of cuddling or making weird animal noises. Though Shyia now lives in Santa Monica, the girls have remained best friends and are planning to force their kids to be long distance best friends too.
Groomsman
Evan and Josh became friends in middle school, where Evan could see his reflection in Josh's shiny Nikes. Evan once saw Josh put barbecue sauce on a popsicle and eat it, and now nothing surprises him.
Bridesman
Andy and Lisa also met at AlphaSights. Andy is as smart as he is warm and funny, and from Day 1, Lisa felt that she could talk to Andy about just about anything and he'd always give sage advice. Most days, you could find them locked in a conference room gossiping, and, as broke young adults living in the Big Apple, screaming "Help me, I'm poor" as they walked through the streets of Times Square. This friendship is free of all judgment.
Groomsman
Evan met Matt during his first day of orientation at Wash U, and the rest is history. They both enjoy being mediocre at golf and trading misery at casinos.
Bridesmaid
Leigh and Lisa also met at AlphaSights. Lisa loves that Leigh is a women's rights activist and cares about making the world a more equal place. Lisa also loves Leigh's sarcastic humor and how she always knows just what to say when Lisa is feeling down. They've been through a lot of tough life moments together, and have always been there for each other through each and every "nervy b".
Groomsman
Evan met Mike during his Freshman year at college and they became fast friends. They decided to live together during their Sophomore year, which was a huge mistake. Evan once locked Mike out of the room because Mike wanted to sleep but Evan and others wanted to play Super Smash Brothers. Some say you can still hear echoes in the room: "Hell no, we won't go!"
Bridesmaid
Tera and Lisa met at AlphaSights in 2015. They only worked together for a few months, but their friendship grew outside the office in the years since. Tera is one of the calmest, most soothing souls Lisa knows, and her maternal instincts and unreal scalp massages always make Lisa smile. Also, Tera's from Wisconsin, and it was time Lisa find friends from places other than New York and California, so she's really glad Tera is in her life.
Groomsman
Joe is Lisa's sister's husband and Evan's newest close friend. Joe is one of the kindest people Evan has come to know, and one of the few people who, like Evan, can recite every line of every episode from Seinfeld.
Bridesmaid
Lisa and Jaime met through their men, Evan and Mike. From the first double date at Park Avenue Winter, Jaime and Lisa became best of friends and rarely go a day without talking. Their philosophy on food is equally sick and fabulous (the more the merrier ... always), and they value family in the same way. They're also the unofficial Lead Planners of the Scarsdale WAGS. Jaime's been Levan's biggest supporter since Day 1, and she helped Evan pick the engagement ring so THANK YOU JAIME.
Bridesmaid
Tara and Lisa met in early December 2015 in the bathroom at the afterparty of Lisa's company holiday party. Lisa sat next to Tara's husband, Dan, at work, and Lisa told Tara she had "heard so much about her", which immediately won Tara over. Safe to say that's exactly what any woman wants to hear from their husband's female work friend! One too many drinks caused the girls to start hugging one another by the bathroom sinks for no apparent reason, and that was that. Tara constantly impresses Lisa with her ambition and career successes, as well as her kindness and commitment to family and friends. When Lisa, Evan, Tara, and Dan went to Mexico City together this year, they ate a combined 150 tacos in 4 days, a sign that the four of them were meant to be friends forever.
