Our wedding is "formal attire". Think something slightly less formal than black tie, so a tuxedo definitely isn't required, but the event is still formal enough if you want an excuse to break one out. Since we're getting married at a vineyard and the vibes are definitely rustic-chic and whimsical, ladies should feel free to wear colors or patterns—it's just on the cusp of summer and fall so colors are encouraged! Lastly, weather depending, the ceremony will be outside and you will be walking on grass from the ceremony to the cocktail hour so PLEASE WEAR CHUNKIER, WEDGED HEELS. The after party will also be outside (bonfire!!!!) so you will be happy we told you to wear more comfortable shoes. Feel free to bring a change of clothes or shoes for the after party if you'd like!
Yes, the ceremony and reception are being held at the same place and there's a parking lot right next to the ceremony site.
Please view our "Travel" page for details about transportation. The TLDR; though is that we highly recommend you rent a car and drive on up. It's the most spectacular time of year in the Hudson Valley and it's easier to explore with a car. We'll be shuttling you from the hotels to the wedding and back.
We never want the party to end either, so of course there is! Our wedding ends at 10pm (amplified music noise ordinance) but the party will continue at Nostrano Vineyards until 12am. There will be a bonfire, more music, s'mores, whiskey, and other goodies. You don't want to miss it! Shuttles will leave to take guests back to the hotel at different points throughout the after party.
