If you're in town Friday or Sunday, check out the tasting room at our wedding venue, Nostrano Vineyards, and roam the beautiful property. The vineyard is a 75-acre farm, vineyard, and winery, growing 10 acres of wine grapes and 15 acres of apple orchards. Tell Kayleigh and/or Nic that we sent you!

The Walkway Over the Hudson spans the Hudson River and connects the City of Poughkeepsie in Dutchess County with the Town of Lloyd and hamlet of Highland in Ulster County, New York. It's the longest elevated pedestrian bridge in the world, and rises 212 feet above the river. It's easily reached by a glass enclosed, 21-story waterfront elevator in Poughkeepsie. The walkway is great for power-walkers, dog-walkers, bicyclists, runners, parents pushing strollers, couples holding hands, and people with limited mobility who can navigate the flat mile and a quarter crossing. Take in the beauty of the Hudson Valley from above!

There is much history in the Hudson Valley. If you're staying in Poughkeepsie, you're just a a short 10-minute drive to FDR's home, plus other historical sites like Eleanor Roosevelt National Historic Site, Locust Grove, and Vanderbilt Mansion National Historic Site.

The Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center was founded in 1864 as the Vassar College Art Gallery. Vassar was the first college or university in the country to include an art museum as part of its original plan. Called "a symphony of architecture" by the New York Times, the Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center comprises a new museum, home to one of the finest teaching collections in the nation.

Shawangunk Mountains

The Shawangunk Mountains, more popularly referred to as The Gunks, offfer some amazing ridge and mountain hikes, as well as rock climbing. If you love biking, make your way down the scenic Hudson Valley Rail Trail and pedal over the Hudson River on the Walkway Over the Hudson.
