Question

How should I dress for Mass?

Answer

Out of respect for The Blessed Sacrament and the couple getting married we ask that women wear dresses and skirts that go down to their knees, nothing backless, shoulders covered and no plunging necklines.

Question

Can I receive Communion if I’m not Catholic?

Answer

Participating in communion is a sign of full communion with the Catholic Church and is reserved for practicing Catholics who are in good standing with the church. Non Catholics can not receive communion but we ask that during communion you remain in your seats in prayer.

Question

What does it mean to be a catholic in good standing with the church?

Answer

It means that you are a catholic in a state of grace who follows the precepts of the church - such as attending Mass every Sunday and going to confession at least once a year.

Question

Can I take pictures during Mass?

Answer

We ask that you not take photos during Mass. We will have a photographer up in the choir loft for that purpose. We ask that during Mass your phones are silenced and put away. However, during the reception we encourage you take as many photos and videos as you can! We will have some cameras provided for this exact purpose! We want to see our reception through the eyes of our guests.
