Best Man
Maybe Joey has a thing for love at first sight? First Leticia, then came Nid. From college to medical school, these two have been attached at the hip and are truly forever friends. If Joey isn’t available to answer a question but Nid is, it's safe to say that these two would give the same answer. The best part of this friendship is that in addition to the close friendship that Nid and Joey share, Leticia and Nid have developed into unbelievably close friends, independent of their common man. This three-way relationship peaked when the three of them spent a month living together in Honduras where they volunteered in a local clinic and improved their medical Spanish which eating baleadas for breakfast, lunch and sometimes dinner. Nid carried the engagement ring throughout the trip, helped coordinate the big proposal dinner, and as an artist he even photographed the whole thing! What a man.
Man of Honor
Where to even start….maybe before Dom was even born? Leticia went to the ultrasound revealing the gender of her new sibling and left in tears at the unfortunate news of a little boy joining her world. Fast forward even a few months, Leticia become instantly obsessed and treated him as her own baby. 22 years later…not a thing has changed. Little brother, built in best friend, not sure if any words would truly capture the love these two have for each other. How special that God knew they needed each other and blessed them to be attached forever. Anyone who has spent any time with these two knows how easy it is to see the bond that they share. Man of Honor runs short of the title that Dom truly holds in Leticia’s heart.
Best Man
No matter where these two end up or how long it’s been since they have seen each other, it’s feels like they have never left each other’s side. Their friendship blossomed at Preston Middle School and over five years of time together they became inseparable. They shared a relay team as track and field sprinters, helped lead the student council, and locked down the air as pass defenders for the high school football team. When they weren't involved at school, they were enjoying the mountains of Colorado. They parted ways for college and have stayed separate through their time training as doctors but incredibly close they will always remain.
Matron of Honor
Maybe the most surprising and newest friendship, it seemed like a ‘when you know you know’ kind of situation. Although neither can remember exactly how the friendship came about while working together at UCHealth, it was instant and without question. Micayla and Leticia were meant to be in each other’s lives. As Leticia and Joey did long distance, and Micayla’s husband Ryan was away working, they gravitated towards spending all of their free time together with their weird night shift schedule. Many slumbies on Mic’s couch, country concerts, work outs, and third wheeling for Leticia, helped strengthen the friendship they have while living in different time zones now. They talk everyday about anything and everything, but now their conversations revolve around photos of Tice's sweet nephew Lucas Ryan, who Joey swears will become famous with his trademarked "Lucas Ryan Jeans Co."
Groomsman
This dapper gentleman and college roommate of Joey's is one of the most interesting people you will meet. Neel has brought an unmatched amount of happiness, sense of adventure, and international curiosity to Joey's life since they first met at a retreat before undergrad. What makes Neel most interesting is that he has grown so much throughout their 10 years as friends but all of his growth centers around strong friendships, meaningful conversations, and an eye for a consistent trajectory to a more intriguing life. Recently, Neel lived for three years in Australia after studying for a year as a guest scholar in China and is only now returning to the states. If you're interested in a fun journey through the world or stupid stories about Joey's difficulty keeping anything clean, sit Neel down for a chat. He won't disappoint.
Maid of Honor
Sam; the one who kept to herself and was the hardest to crack, for whatever reason was the friendship Leticia knew she had to pursue. It took Leticia all Freshman year of college at UNC but she finally did it, she made Sam be friends with her. From then on they’ve stuck by each others side for every break up, bad day, roadtrip, movie night, nursing school test (followed by a barstool Chili’s date), move across the country, and now luckily to Leticia’s big day. The understanding of each other, no matter the mood or situation runs deep and oh so true. Polar opposites these two may be, but somehow they make it work, and Leticia is so thankful.

Matt is the stupidest smart person you will ever meet.

It may have been love at first sight for Anu and Leticia more so than Leticia and Joey. Anu may have started out as Joey's friend first, meeting at UTD for undergraduate, but after spending a weekend together in Aspen, it couldn't of been more clear the friendship that was brewing between the three of them. This made Leticia feel so good about the trajectory of not only her relationship, but also of the new friendship she was starting. Sounds so crazy, looking back now at how nervous Leticia was to meet Anu. They couldn't be more similar. A constant presence in each other's lives from then on. Leticia couldn't imagine her life without Anu now. The question is will these two ever live in the same state? Or will their friendship continue to require flights to see each other? At least for now they're in the same time zone!

Rohit, as one of the original roomies and the all-categories improvement over Matt Salm, was Joey's left-hand man in making their college kitchen as messy as possible to the behest of Nid and Neel. The friendship between Rohit and Joey has evolved over the past 8 years. They have watched each other grow and been there for each other in every step of life. They are able to call each other and catch up regardless of how long it's been. Both with very busy schedules, prioritizing their friendships is something these two do well.

Freshman year of college, both Nursing majors at UNC, these two liked to spend their spare time finding any adventures, concerts, or barstools they could. It didn't take long for these two to hit it off, in fact Lexi was quickly one of the first friends Leticia made and kept through all of the years. Late night study sessions in Harrison Hall fueled by Jimmy Johns sandwiches, sharing fajitas and margaritas at the Rio, working as CNA's together caring for the whole floor on night shift, or laying by the pool on random Tuesday mornings, these two could do whatever it is together and feel like no time has passed. These two always are able to just pick up where they left off.

Paul and Joey, cousins, grew up very close being the only two boys, surrounded by a sea of women. These two were able to lean on each other and play video games, go on trips every summer together to California, and pick on their sisters. Even though these two haven't lived in the same state for 10+ years, they are grateful for the time they do get to see each other and catch up on life. Paul also has a unique perspective on Joey and Leticia's relationship as he was present for their early days. Often times Joey responding two hours later with a text of 'Oh sorry Paul and I were playing video games.'

A friend through all of the ages, stages, and changes. Leticia and Aubrey began their friendship while playing soccer for Arsenal Soccer Club in Fort Collins while in middle school. They bonded over being the 'moms' on the team and both being the versatile players. High school, college, and beyond their friendship continued to bloom regardless of distance or difference in life path; Construction Management and Nursing didn't quite equate. It goes to show the test of time this friendship will last, and only made sense having Aubrey as a part of Leticia and Joey's special day. Besides, Aubrey had been a constant sounding board through the trenches of long distance. Long walks through the Foothills with Aubrey's dogs gave these two all the time to talk and somehow it was never enough. The longest friendship, and also the easiest, these two just get each other.

Kyra and Joey became friends while both attending Fossil Ridge High School, running together on the track team they spent many hours with each other.
