In Washington, D.C

The White House: While you can’t go inside without special permission, you can view the White House from Lafayette Park. 4. Georgetown: Stroll along Georgetown’s historic streets with charming boutiques, cafes, and waterfront views. Don't miss the C&O Canal, a lovely place for a walk or bike ride. 5. The Wharf: A vibrant area for food, music, and shopping along the Potomac River. It’s great for a sunset walk, casual dining, and waterfront views.
Northern Virginia
1. Old Town Alexandria: Walk along King Street, with its cobblestone streets, boutique shops, restaurants, and galleries. Take a water taxi from Alexandria to The Wharf in D.C. or visit the Torpedo Factory. 2. Great Falls Park: Located near McLean, this park offers scenic views of the Great Falls of the Potomac River, along with hiking trails, and picnicking spots. 3. Gravelly Point Park: Located near Reagan National Airport, this park offers fantastic views of planes taking off and landing. It’s perfect for a picnic or watching the planes in action. 4. Mount Vernon: Visit the historic home of George Washington in Alexandria. 5. Tysons Galleria: A large shopping mall with a variety of stores, restaurants, and even a movie theater. It’s a great place for shopping or just spending time with the family. 6. Virginia Wine Country and Breweries: Our favorites are Stone Tower, Bear Chase Brewing, Rocklands Farm, Aslin brewing, and Port City brewing.
