When should I RSVP by?

What's the best airport to use?

Answer

There are three major airports serving Washington, DC: -Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) -Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) -Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) We recommend flying into DCA as it is the closest to DC and the venue.

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

Answer

We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guests list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love all your children, but due to space restrictions, we can only accommodate children in our immediate family.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. The dress code is cocktail formal. For Women: Dresses that are knee-length, midi dress (or longer), maxi dresses, and dressy jumpsuits in lighter fabrics like chiffon, silk, or cotton blends. Consider soft, floral patterns, pastel shades, or light, vibrant colors. Please do not wear white/champagne. Shoes: Dressy sandals or heels but keep comfort in mind as the wedding is also outdoors on brick. Consider wedges or block heels. Cover-ups: If it’s cooler in the evening, a light shawl or bolero is recommended. For Men: A lightweight suit in colors like navy, light gray, or beige and/or a dress shirt paired with a tie or bow tie. Dress Shoes: Oxfords or loafers in leather or suede. Light-colored shoes (like tan or light brown) Please avoid overly casual items like denim, sneakers, or shorts, even if it’s a warm-weather wedding.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is street parking located around the venue that is free of charge for 3 hours. You may park in the Wells Fargo lot located across from the venue, but we ask no cars be left overnight.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding will take place mostly outdoors. Guest are allowed to access the building if needed. Cocktail hour will be held indoors. We recommend bringing a light layer as the evening may get colder.

Will there be transportation provided?

Answer

Unfortunately no. We recommend Uber, Lyft, taxis, or carpooling. Street parking is also available for those who choose to drive.
