Downtown Raleigh Shuttle - the R Line

This free bus system will connect you to restaurants, retail, entertainment venues, museums, hotels, and parking facilities in downtown Raleigh. Buses run approximately every 15 minutes so. Hours of Operation: Mon-Wed (7 am-11 pm) Thurs-Sat (7 am-2:15 am) Sun (1 pm-8 pm)

Birds (Electric Scooters)

Downtown Raleigh has recently introduced "Birds", electric scooters you can rent to travel around downtown. To use them you have to download the app, scan your drivers license, and input a credit card. They are $1 and then charge based on time. In our experience, they are pretty inexpensive. Best Western Plus Cary Inn - NC State (Group Block Rate)
