Question

When are RSVPs due?

Answer

Please submit your official RSVP (including the name of your plus one if you're bringing one) by 02/16/19 in the RSVP tab above. You are also welcome to mail your RSVP if one is included in your invitation.

How far is the airport/train station from downtown Raleigh?

Answer

The Raleigh-Durham Airport is about 20 minutes from Downtown. There are train stations located in Downtown Raleigh and Cary. You can find information and travel instructions in the "Travel" tab.

Will there be any organized events before or after the wedding?

Answer

There is no formal brunch or rehearsal dinner. However, we encourage you to explore downtown Raleigh during your time here! See the “Things to Do” tab for some places we enjoy 😊

Will there be food and drinks served?

Answer

Yes! We will be having BBQ catered by The Pit. There will be a buffet for everyone to help themselves. Every guest (over 21) will also get 3 drink tickets for the bar - 2 for beer/wine/champagne and 1 open bar ticket. Any additional drinks will be available for purchase at the bar. Sodas and tea are included in the meal.

What's the attire?

Answer

The atmosphere of the wedding will be more relaxed, so attire will be semi-formal.

Is there a specific hotel we have to stay in and/or a hotel block?

Answer

We do have hotel blocks with lowered rates reserved at Best Western Plus Cary Inn and LaQuinta Inn and Suites Raleigh Crabtree. If you do not want to book within the blocks, we recommend reserving a hotel in the local Raleigh/Cary/Garner area. There are plenty and you will be closer to the venue and any downtown festivities!

What type of weather can we expect?

Answer

On average Raleigh temperatures in April are a high of 72 and a low of 48. There is very little rain in April as well, so we're hoping there won't be any rain on our wedding day! Where do we park?

Answer

There is paid parking available in multiple garages in the blocks surrounding the venue. There is also free street parking depending on how busy downtown is. See the "Travel" tab for more details and a map of all parking.

Will transportation be provided to or from the venue?

Answer

We are not arranging for any transportation, but our venue is walking distance from multiple street parking and parking garages. Raleigh is also very Uber and Lyft friendly, there are rentable electric scooters downtown, and there is a free bus that shuttles around Downtown for easy traveling. Will we be inside or outside?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors at the same venue. However, downtown Raleigh is beautiful if you want to walk around before or after!

Can we take pictures?

Answer

During the ceremony we ask that you refrain from using your phone or taking pictures, as we have a photographer. Before or after the ceremony feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like! But no flash please!
