Jono is Gavin’s oldest friend. At their first meeting, Jono hit Gavin in the face with a tennis racket and chipped Gavin’s front tooth. Aged 8, Jono sat and waited with Gavin until his mother, Lynne, came and picked him up at school. Jono immediately explained what had happened and apologized for the accident. From that moment on, he cemented a place in our family and will forever be part of it. Jono is the most honest man you will ever meet. From roaming the neighborhood on our bicycles as kids to exploring the mountains on the west rand, to university together, to rugby and parties with the boys, and many a DMC over a beer or two, this bond has been and will be unbreakable. Nice one bruvva!

Tim is Leia's brother and best friend, and even though she used to dress him up as a girl when he was little because she wanted a sister, she's grown rather attached to him as he is. Tim and Leia have pretty much been inseparable and consider their bond to be a huge blessing - we went to college together, lived together in LA, have traveled all over the country and world together, and generally just love hanging out with one other. Tim is just as excited to stand up with Leia as he is to be getting Gavin for a brother, because as he says, he always needed one!

Jono and Gavin met in the summer of 2000. Young, bright-eyed, bushy-tailed first-year university students, pursuing their studies like diligent students, making their moms oh so proud… not so much in reality! It was more like a meeting of kindred spirits at the first social function of the year, intoxicated and believing we were the next breed of untouchables! How things spiraled from there. From young, naïve students, to triple headers to being housemates at the infamous “Bernies” named after “Weekend at Bernie's”. Jono and Gavin have been through thick and thin together and have only carved out a bond that has never wavered and will only get stronger over the years.

Debbie introduced Morgan and Leia via text message a few years ago, in advance of a trip to Morgan's town that never ended up happening! It was too late though, as Leia & Morgan hit it off immediately & knew they would be forever friends. While they didn't actually meet in person for another 8 months, their digital pen-pal relationship grew in strength, especially after realizing they shared both their faith & political proclivities. That aside, both of them have a laundry list of weird habits that ironically are also shared, which are better told as stories in person. Morgan & Leia have also visited each other all over the world, smashing oysters & french fries & wine in cities near & far. Leia is truly blessed with Morgan's friendship & honored she is standing with her on her big day.

Rob, the other Musketeer, and Gavin met through Jono Gay one fateful night at the Hat. From that night on, these three lads have been inseparable. Rob has one of the biggest hearts you will find and is always there for you at the drop of a hat. Rob is not scared of a dress-up party and is even less afraid of a microphone, a joke, and an audience. From road trips across Canada to trips to Hong Kong and golf tours to Scotland, there is never have a dull moment. But there are many layers to Rob, and an incredible friend he is. One thing that many people battle to understand is the weird language and set of vocabulary that Rob and Gavin use to speak to each other, it is a language that very few understand. Oooozzzeeerrrss!

Elle and Leia first met several years ago through Morgan! After quickly learning of their shared views on everything from politics to religion to fashion, they realized they were a friend match made in heaven! Since then, they've been pretty inseparable, have traveled together, and Elle even moved to OC just to be near Leia and Morgan (seriously that might have been part of it)! They loved being neighbors until Leia moved back to Texas, and now can't go more than a few hours without a text or call. Elle's husband Bryan and Gavin also quickly became friends, and we count the entire Fulton family as part of our own. Some of our best adventures have been with them, and there are only more to come!

Neil (aka Granny) met Gavin at university through Jono Kearney. As the name suggests, Granny does not do things quickly. However, if he does, he will likely tear a hamstring. Through many years of rugby, tri-butts, and far too many escapades at the Linden digs, Granny and Gavin have always been great friends. Their mutual love of travel and getting into some crazy adventures have led them to run on the Great Wall of China, Antarctic Ice, and Iceland marathon, catch the Trans-Siberian Express from Beijing to Saint Petersburg, and surf waves up the Amazon. Granny is always up for an adventure, is a hell of a travel companion, and one of the best people that I will probably ever have the fortune of knowing. But, if you do travel with him, never let him oversee the passports…

Alana and Tim have been together since college, and Leia first met Alana when Tim brought her to a party they were all at for his fraternity. Since they all went to Chapman University, it was easy to spend time together, and the two girls hit it off! Since then, Alana has not only become a close friend, but a sister, a confidant, and one of Leia's all-time favorite people. Alana has been around for all of Leia's most important milestones, is the one who is always 'down for anything', and Leia never has more fun than when they get a wild hair together. From dance parties in DC, to watching scary movies, to riding bulls together on NYE, the sky is really the limit to how much fun they can have. Leia knows the wedding day will be even more memorable thanks to Alana standing by her side!
