The wedding will take place at the Trump National Golf Club of Washington, D.C. The club is located 30 minutes West of Washington in Potomac Falls, VA, with sweeping views of the Potomac River. You can learn more about the club here: https://www.trumpnationaldc.com/
Please RSVP via our website by March 25, 2021.
The ceremony will commence at 5:00 pm sharp. Please arrive at the venue no later than 4:45 pm.
We recommend a Lyft or taxi from your hotel, but there will be complimentary self-parking if you choose to drive your own vehicle.
While we love your special little people very much, the event is unfortunately not appropriate for children under the age of 13. However, children are included for the Welcome Reception on April 28th. We would be happy to help you make arrangements with reputable, local childcare services for the duration of the event, should you require it.
In order to keep our guest list on track, we request that only those formally listed on the invitation attend the festivities.
Semi-Formal attire is requested - tuxes and gowns are welcome, as are suits and cocktail dresses. Please keep in mind that the ceremony will be outdoors. You may wish to bring a light wrap or jacket for the outdoor portion of the event.
Toward the end of the month morning lows warm to the low to mid-50s F (10-12 C) while the afternoon highs are most likely to reach into the low to mid-70s F (21-23 C) with a few of the warmer days reaching or exceeding 82 F (about 28C). Past Aprils in Washington DC have seen extremes as high as 95 F (35 C) to as low as 24 F (-4.4 C). The weather should be pleasant overall, but do pack a jacket, umbrella, and layers for your stay.
We will be serving everything from high-quality meats and fishes to vegetarian dishes, in a beautiful and encompassing buffet. If you have any additional medical restrictions (not preferential) related to your diet, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate.
Not only will there be dancing, it is mandatory to participate!
Due to so many of you traveling for our big day, your presence is the only gift we need. However, if you are so inclined, please see our registry page for more details.
We recommend flying in to D.C a week prior to the date of the wedding, in order to adjust to the time change and have some time for local sightseeing. Since many of you have lengthy travel, we recommend spending 1-2 weeks in our beautiful country, should your schedules and budgets permit. Please see our travel page for flight and hotel details, including codes for the room blocks. We will also be happy to make sightseeing recommendations and help you plan an itinerary based on your individual preferences, so you can get the most out of your trip!
We would love to have an 'unplugged' ceremony free of cell phones, in order to savor the moment with our most treasured friends and family, and to allow the photographers to best do their jobs. If you would kindly refrain from using your phones during the ceremony, it would be most appreciated. At the request of our photographers and to best enable them to do their duties, should you wish to take photos of yourselves at the reception, please feel free, so long as your flashes do not interfere with theirs. We hope to keep our event just between our closest friends and family, so would be grateful if posting on social media could be left to the couple, as well.
