Hotel
A little pricy but it's 0.5 miles from our apartment & 1 mile from the venue. Great on-site bar, and tons of restaurants within a couple of blocks.
House Or Rental
There are some great Airbnb spots around the city and probably the best option for our thrifty travelers and big groups. Neighborhoods guide: Lakeview/Wrigleyville/ Southport Corridor - Where We Live! Ravenswood - Where the Venue is Wicker Park - Hipster area full of bars, restaurants, and stores Logan Square - Gentrifying, artsy area, great restaurants Lincoln Park - beautiful parks, expensive homes Old town - Last neighborhood-y area before being 'downtown' West Loop - Industrial area, best restaurants and bars in the city Gold coast (aka Viagra triangle) - designer shops everywhere River North - Downtown
Flight
Both airports are a 20-30 minute drive from the city and likely a $30-50 Uber/lyft to wherever you decide to stay. Chicago also has great public transportation, The blue line train goes directly into o'hare and the orange line goes to midway. Once you are in the city you can bike, scoot, or uber/lyft anywhere you need to be.
