18 miles of walk/run/bike paths along Lake Michigan. Budget time to take this route to kickball on bike, scooter, or foot. We spend hours and hours every summer biking this trail to North Avenue beach to play volleyball. It's also where Blake proposed to Lee!
Chicago Magic Lounge
Did you know Chicago has its own style of Magic? Get tickets to a show -- we promise you will not regret it. One of the most uniqe things to do in the city. Prepare to have your mind blown. Start the night just up the street at Little Bad Wolf, the site of Lee & Blake's third date!

Chicago has great museums but this is the best!
The Second City
Perhaps the most famous improv comedy group in the world, this is ALSO where Blake (and groomsmen Matt and Zach) took improv classes. Catch a sketch show, and budget extra time at the end for an improv set.
The iO Theater
Blake's favorite improv theatre, and home of his favorite live entertainment in the city: the Improvised Shakespeare company.
Kingston Mines
Famous Chicago blues club. Open till 4am Thursday- Sunday. Bring cash for the cover.
The Green Mill
Al Capone's favorite bar! go sit in his booth and listed to some of the best swing and jazz Bands play from 8pm – midnight. Tuesday and Thursday nights are particularly fun if you like to dance. CASH ONLY.
Lazy Bird
Speakeasy bar below the Hoxton Hotel, good music and fantastic cocktails. Go on a weeknight.
Chicago Shakespeare Theater
One of the best Shakespeare theaters in the world, and site of many shows enjoyed by Blake's family (well, most of them) during his formative years.
Lula Cafe
Lee's Favorite restaurant. Seasonal menus that never fail to impress. Enjoy, then tell Blake how good it was since Lee always goes without him. He's fine with it though. It's fine.
Swift & Sons
Blake's favorite steakhouse. Chicago is famous for their steakhouses and there are plenty of great options, but S&S wins out for its unparalleled service, excellent cocktails, classy-but-not-stuffyambiance, and all the memories it holds of long meals in the company of friends.

Italian restaurant that has some of the best handmade pasta in the city.
Aba
The greatest of restaurant vibes and incredible Mediterranean food. Come enjoy the spot Blake's sister said served her "the best meal she's ever had".
Doña Tola
Right across the street from our apartment! Come see our neighborhood and this cozy restaurant serving traditional Mexican food & cocktails in a laid-back space. Lee gets the vegetable enchiladas every time, and Blake recommends the Al Pastor tacos with a Oaxacan Old Fashioned.
Ella Elli
Another local favorite, loveseat bar stools with charcuterie boards and seasonal dishes. Brussel sprout flatbread is a must. Hopefully they're still selling the Double Eau cocktail when you geau.
