Although we were in the same pharmacy school, Edwin and I didn't really know each other until our 2nd year. We progressed from classmates to coworkers, then to best friends. Along the way, I became friends with Jennifer and understand how deeply Edwin and Jennifer care for each other. We bonded through delicious food, cocktails, and late nights karaoke. I'm lucky to witness Edwin's ever growing relationship with Jennifer. I'm excited for their wedding celebration in August. Wishing you both the most happiness, love, wealth, and many adventures ahead!

Meeting Edwin through mutual friends in Northside’s lunch room marked the beginning of over a decade of friendship. Days of chatting over FB into the wee hours of the night about growing pains, playing Dragonica, passing notes in the hallway, calling each other ugly bishes, and navigating the highs and lows into adulthood. We always manage to pick up where we left off, no matter how much time has passed. Bonding with Edwin and Jennifer over craft beer and delicious cocktails, there is a comfort and ease to be idiots together, especially over a drink or two. The epitome of quality time.

The first memory I have of meeting Jennifer was the first day of school trying to find my locker. I was looking for my number and when I got there I saw this girl trying to break into it. It turns out she was helping my locker partner try to get open the lock. Fast forward 9 years later and she’s one of the best and most loyal friends a person would be lucky to have. Through her, I gained another best friend in Edwin. It’s been an eventful and fun ride with demon hours of toxic League and Valorant, journeys to evil Wicker Park, late nights of singing karaoke, deep and intimate talks about life, and much more. I couldn’t be luckier to have met these two and be able to be a part of their lives from this point and now through their next chapter of marriage!

However, I can't think of a moment where I would be okay with not meeting these two. I danced with Jen on our high school dance team and we reconnected by gamin together while I was in New York after college graduation. When I came back to Chicago, our friendship (incl. Edwin) blossomed in real life, going to restaurants, bars, and playing tennis like nobody’s business. So grateful to have friends that entertain my off-the-rocker ideas and indulge me in childish antics. They are a great match for one another, and I’m very honored to stand beside them on their special day.

Jennifer and I met in 6th grade when I transferred in as a new student. It all started when I needed a pencil and she let me borrow one. From that moment we were inseparable! We did everything together from after school circus club, battle of the books, year book, volunteering at the Edgewater CPL, and even our first jobs together at Sun Wah. We would introduce ourselves as sisters and to this day, always and forever, she’ll never not be my sister from another mister. I met Edwin senior year of highschool during one of Jennifer’s performances at Northside and over the years and through house hunting, I’ve gotten to know Edwin and Jennifer more. We’ve all grown and changed but I can still see how well they compliment each other and why these high school sweethearts are meant to be. This Union solidifies what they have and their commitment to each other and I cannot wait to celebrate their love for each other! Wishing you both decades more of love, joy, and wealth!

Even though we went to high school together, Jennifer, Edwin, and I didn't become friends until we were in college at UIC. I honestly don't even remember us meeting; it just feels like we've been friends for so many years. We've gone from cheap drinks at The Owl and playing League to being homeowners and catching up over a handcrafted Weeb Bartender cocktail. I know I can always count on them for a good time and I'm looking forward to the best time at their wedding in August.

It all started in nursing organic Chemistry lab where I met Jennifer. We ended up choosing to be each other’s chem partners. Fast forward almost 8 years later, Jennifer, Edwin and I have bonded over trying fancy cocktails, restaurants, exercise classes and even dance lessons. I am so thankful that I met Jennifer that day because of her I met Edwin. Together, they are one of the sweetest, genuine, & empathetic couples I’ve ever met. Me and her played the Legend of the Poro King and for every death we got we had to take shots of vodka (chase with sprite, it didn't taste any better lmao). Me and Edwin didn't talk much before, but it was pretty funny we bonded over Liddo getting wasted.

Growing up I was always close to Jennifer. I met her in the fifth grade and we instantly became best friends. We did stay close friends for many years but like most humans, friends tend to drift apart. In the last few years I have rekindled my friendship with Jennifer but also started a new friendship with Edwin as well. I am thankful to have become friends with both of you. The people we were in the past are not a good representation of the people we are today. If you look at the three of us now you would have never imagined we haven’t been friends all our lives. The vibes are always good when we're together. I was honestly shocked when I was asked to be a bridesman.
