We will work with our venue to ensure that the event follows local COVID-19 event requirements. As of 3/28/2022, there are no COVID restrictions in Orleans Parish. However, we kindly request that guests take a COVID test prior to attending the wedding. This will help protect attendees and minimize the risk of a super spreader event. Finally, bullying or harassing guests who choose to wear masks or other PPE will not be tolerated. We want this event to be as fun and safe as possible for everyone we love.
When you RSVP on Zola, if your invitation gives you the option to RSVP for a “Guest” or the specific name of your partner/spouse, then yes. If not, we would prefer it if it was just you. If you don't see the guest option on your RSVP, try entering that person's name separately to check, or contact Leanne directly if you're unsure.
Yes, kids are allowed at the wedding ceremony/reception and the Family Fais Do-Do. You should have the option on your Zola RSVP to include them. However, we encourage you to make the appropriate choice for your family values. The wedding will be an evening event with an open bar and without on-site childcare, which may not be suitable for young children. The Family Fais Do-Do will be a family-friendly event for all ages.

The Second Line consists of people who follow a band to enjoy the music, dance, and celebrate together. This is a New Orleans tradition. For weddings, Second Lines signify the beginning of a new life together. Usually, the second line brings the wedding guests and bridal party from the ceremony to the reception. We will be secondlining between our wedding ceremony and wedding reception.
A "fais do-do" (fay-doe-doe) is a Cajun dance or get-together. Ours will be a family get-together the day after the wedding hosted by the groom's parents.
