The groom's parents welcome family from far and near to celebrate the newlyweds in a traditional Cajun get-together known as a Fais Do-Do (fay-doe-doe) the day after the wedding. Guests are welcome to join for a Cajun delicacies like cochon de lait (roasted pork), crawfish boil and boudin, along with other activities. Limited parking will be available at the event. We will provide group transportation leaving from the Marriott on Canal Street for out of town guests and those who prefer not to drive. If you plan to take the group transportation, please arrive at the Marriott no later than 12pm noon for departure, as the house is a 45 minute drive outside out New Orleans.
