Just a quick hour and a half train ride from the Sayville LIRR station and you'll be in the greatest city in the world! Home to nearly 9 million people (including us!), NYC has an unlimited amount of activities for everyone. Parks, restaurants, museums, shopping, and sight-seeing - just to name a few. Central Park is where we got engaged, and our engagement photos were done in Brooklyn. We have lots of great memories here, and we hope you'll make some as well.
Fire Island National Seashore
One of our favorite spots! Fire Island has so much beauty and a very relaxing atmosphere. The beaches are clean and the water is perfect. It is completely pedestrian - no cars anywhere! Butterflies, deer, and other wildlife are often spotted. Lots of great places to eat. The Sayville Ferry is about 15 minutes from the venue! Schedules can be found on http://www.sayvilleferry.com/
Long Island Wine Country
Long Island Wine Country boasts dozens of fine wineries, with each vineyard offering a multitude of wine varieties. Family-owned and operated, you'll enjoy award-winning wines, acres of breathtaking scenery, and excellent customer service. Don't forget to stop at the farm stands on the way!
Blue Point Brewing Company
Long Island's oldest local craft brewery! Blue Point offers a large selection of year-round beers, lots of seasonal brews, and a tasting room open several days during the week. The second floor of the brewery boasts a dining room featuring local seafood, burgers, soups, salads, and more!
Tiki Action Park
If you love playing indoor or outdoor games, this is it! An expansive and impressive mini golf course, go-kart track, air hockey, laser tag, skee ball, 50 arcade games, an outdoor picnic area as well as an indoor bamboo lounge - there's something for everyone!
