Travel and Lodging

There is so much to do in Tahoe and so many places to stay. In fact, the location of the wedding has a campground on site. If you wish to stay there, please book ASAP as this campground fills up quickly. There are many other campgrounds around the basin if that is your vibe. For those of you who want more traditional lodging, there are an endless number of hotels, motels, and Air BnBs/VRBO to select from. The venue is about 20 minutes from central South Lake Tahoe, so any of these options in or near South Lake Tahoe are close to the venue. To get to South Lake Tahoe, the nearest airports are Reno and Sacramento. There is minimal public transportation to get into the basin, so it is suggested you get a rental car. Lyft and uber exist up here and can be used to get to the lake from the airports, but it is rather pricy! It’s also recommend to rent a car so you can adventure and play around Tahoe during your time here. Please feel free to message us about recommendations.
