Ferry to the Island
To reach Mackinac Island, you’ll need to take a ferry with Shepler’s. Most guests will be departing from the Mackinaw City dock—please check the ferry schedule on their website in advance to plan your trip. The ferry can get quite busy, especially in the middle of the day. If you're arriving on Thursday, we strongly recommend catching an early ferry (before 11am) and arriving at the docks an hour before departure. We have a promo code for discounted tickets! If buying tickets from the ticket office in person, you will just need to give our last names to receive the discounted tickets. Heads Up!
There are no cars on Mackinac Island! This means there will be a lot of walking so plan accordingly. There is a taxi company, but you must call and schedule a pickup ahead of time. There are bikes you can rent, or you can bring your own. We will have a taxi arranged to take folks between the church and the reception!

Mission Point Resort
We have a room block available for guests that choose to stay at the resort with us. The discount is 5% off of the best current rate. We recommend booking as early as possible to lock in the best rate. Please note that this room block is for both Wednesday 6/10 and Thursday 6/11 nights. Booking link below! Other Hotels
If you prefer to stay somewhere else, there are plenty of hotels both on and off of Mackinac Island. On the island, there are cute B&Bs along with hotels right downtown but we do not have a discount code for any of these places. If you wish to stay off of the island, Mackinaw City has plenty of their own hotels. Please note the ferry schedule if you plan to stay off island.
