When should I confirm my attendance?

A formal invitation will be sent closer to the wedding date with RSVP information included.

What is the dress code?

Cocktail or semi-formal attire is perfect for the evening; think polished but comfortable. Light, summery clothing is welcome for children.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Guests should plan to arrive at 4:00 PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If you received an invitation addressed to you and a guest, we’d love for you to bring someone along to celebrate! Couples are invited together, and single guests are welcome to bring a plus one. We kindly ask that only those listed on your invitation attend.

Are children invited?

Answer

Your invitation will indicate whether children are included. While we’re keeping the guest list limited, we are happy to welcome children traveling from out of state. Please follow what’s noted on your specific invite.

Is there parking available?

Answer

Parking is available at nearby garages, including the Grand Circus Garage, just a short two-minute walk from The Madison. Rates typically start around $10.

Will the event be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be indoors, followed by an open-air rooftop reception. Keep your fingers crossed for good weather!

Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

Yes! We’ve reserved a hotel block for our guests. Please see the Travel tab for details and be sure to book by May 12. Downtown Detroit also offers a wide range of accommodations to fit different styles and budgets, but hotels tend to fill up quickly due to the Rocket Mortgage Classic happening the same weekend.

What kind of food will be served?

We’re going all out! The evening will feature an abundant selection of passed hors d’oeuvres, chef-curated small plates, and late-night bites inspired by cuisines from around the world. Vegetarian options will also be available. To finish, guests can indulge in a decadent dessert spread and wedding cake flavors only Dejan would choose!

Of course! Enjoy premium cocktails, wine, and beer throughout the evening.

Live music during cocktail hour, followed by a DJ and dancing under the city lights.
