Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by March 26th!

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

In mid-May, Sayulita experiences warm and relatively dry conditions as it transitions from the dry to the rainy season. Temperature averages low 80s (F) during the day and low-mid 70s overnight. While the region is mainly jungle climate so relatively good humidity, Sayulita is a beach town and our venue is on the water so bring a sweater or jacket as nights can be breezy!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

WELCOME DINNER & BRUNCH: Casual and Beachy! It will be early summer in the jungle of Mexico, so it can be hot and a bit steamy by most of our standards, but both the welcome restaurant and our wedding weekend venue are oceanside and thankfully provide a pretty constant breeze! WEDDING: Think sophisticated and colorful yet breezy attire that reflects the beauty of our jungle meets seaside setting!...... For MEN: Opt for lightweight, breathable fabrics such as linen or cotton. Choose tailored suits or dress shirts paired with dress pants. A tie is optional, but consider a blazer for added refinement...... For WOMEN: Select elegant maxi dresses or flowing gowns in light, airy fabrics like chiffon or silk. Choose styles that allow for movement and comfort while exuding a formal aesthetic. When choosing shoes, consider that the ceremony is on the beach and reception will be on grass. Think hues inspired by sand, sunsets, and coastal landscapes....... Overall, aim for attire that combines sophistication with beachside practicality. Evenings may get chilly, so bring a shawl or light jacket.

Question

How long should I stay?

Answer

We recommend staying for at least 3 nights to experience the town. Most are arriving Thursday and leaving Monday.

Question

What should I pack?

Answer

Swimsuits beach attire, and wedding wears. Pack what you need for any planned adventures (hiking, surfing, fishing, margarita drinking, etc) and something nice for the evening events. bring good shoes to walk around town, the streets can be uneven. Keep anything valuable at home! Wedding celebrations will all be outdoors. I recommend a chunky heel, leave the stilletos at home.

Question

Should I exchange US dollars for Pesos?

Answer

Some restaurants, bars, and other vendors in Sayulita are cash only so we do recommend exchanging some cash prior to your arrival. We recommend going to your home bank or an Intercam bank to get the best exchange rates. ATMs in town are known to run out! Intercam Banco Flamingos is on the way from the Airport and beside the grocery store if you want your taxi driver to stop.

Question

Can I drink the water in Sayulita?

Answer

As a precaution, we recommend drinking bottled water. The pharmacies around town will have giant jugs that you can purchase if your accommodations do not provide them.

Question

Golf Carts?

Answer

Sayulita itself is extremely walkable! The primary form on transportation for those staying in town or on the edges is walking or golf carts. If you plan to stay further away, taxi or transfer will be necessary to reach our venue and town. We recommend renting a golf cart if you have any interest in adventuring Sayulita or have lodgings on the outer edges of town! While the town and surrounding area are extremely safe and very walkable, most roads are stone/dirt combos and many local lodging options are built into the surrounding hills and cliff-sides, offering for stunning views but often a bit of hike when returning home.
