We met in Crested Butte, Colorado in October of 2019. Lauren had recently moved to Denver, and Will had been living in Crested Butte since 2008. Lauren visited CB with a friend that beautiful fall weekend, and family friends made sure she met the local Dujardin boys! Will and Lauren stayed in touch and had their first date at a Lizzo concert two weeks later. Lauren officially moved to Crested Butte in September 2020 after a lot of drive time, ski dates, and extended quarantines, culminating in almost a year of dating from a distance. With many adventures in the mountains under their belts, and promises made to find many more together, Will proposed to Lauren on top of Columbine Hill at Crested Butte Mountain Resort while on a mountain bike ride on June 20th, 2021. The chapter in Crested Butte has come to an end (for now?), as Will and Lauren have recently moved to Cottonwood Heights, Utah at the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon, home to Alta and Snowbird ski resorts. The adventures continue, as Will has taken a new job as Director of AltaBird Freeride, a part of the Snowbird Sports Education Foundation.
