Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Lauren Wysocki and Remmert de Beer
As a jumping off point for Cape Town sight-seeing, I have listed below a few spots, and I highly recommend checking out this blog post to give a good overview of what The Mother City has to offer: https://www.thediscoveriesof.com/things-to-do-in-cape-town/ Naples, FL also has a lot to offer guests attending there, especially near where the events are taking place. I highly recommend checking out downtown 5th Ave, the zoo, the pier and any of the other beaches! Sun-n-Fun Lagoon is also a great spot for the kiddos. https://www.naplesfloridatravelguide.com/ Remember to join the South Africa Facebook Group! https://www.facebook.com/groups/803820441494427/

City Sightseeing Cape Town Visitor Center

Dock Road, Cape Town, WC 8005, South Africa

Hop-on-Hop-off tours via buses and ferries. A great way to see all the major sights and attractions in the city-- the waterfront, Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden, Two Oceans Aquarium, Constantia Winelands, Robben Island, Beaches, Museums, and more.

Table Mountain

Table Mountain

Cape Town, WC, South Africa

Incredible vista of the whole city, as well as surrounding coastline and mountain landscape. The cable car is the best way to the top, and once you are there, you can find multiple hiking trails (all easy access and level of difficulty), as well as a place to eat. You can access the cable car via car or by the red tour buses!

Lion's Head

Lion's Head

Cape Town, WC 8001, South Africa

For a great hike and views of the city. Signal Hill is also known for being a great sunset picnic spot.

Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden

Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden

Rhodes Drive, Cape Town, WC 7735, South Africa

Beautiful Botanical Gardens nestled in the Newlands, one of the best in the world and a must see for any nature lover. The cafe at the entrance has some great food, snacks and drinks to have a nice lunch picnic.

The Watershed

The Watershed

17 Dock Road, Cape Town, WC 8002, South Africa

An amazing place to shop and browse the work of unique and talented local artists and artisans, located at the waterfront next to the aquarium.

Two Oceans Aquarium

Two Oceans Aquarium

Dock Road, Cape Town, WC 8002, South Africa

Located at the V&A Waterfront-- Very interactive, and a VERY impressive shark and ray exhibit, in my opinion! Definitely geared toward families as you might expect, but I had a blast, I think it's great for all ages.

V&A Waterfront

V&A Waterfront

Cape Town, WC 8001, South Africa

Short for Victoria and Albert-- Tons of shops, restaurants, and art along the oldest working harbor in the southern hemisphere, with a view of Table Mountain. Conveniently located, it is a good place to start a day of sightseeing, or a good place to find your hotel.

For all the days along the way
