Absolutely, just please make sure you include them in the RSVP, and whether they need a special kid's meal!
We will have blocs of rooms at the Hilton, on US-41 and close to the church and downtown Naples. Please reach out to Lauren, Mark, or Marcy if you'd like recommendations on where else to stay in town.
We are forgoing a traditional registry but are graciously accepting any money gifts you find appropriate. That being said, we love a heartfelt, personal gift, if that is something you would like to do. You can find ways to gift under the "Registry" tab on this site if you would rather do that online rather than a check or cash.
We have done our best to try and include partners on our guest list, but if we have missed someone, please do not hesitate to reach out and we will do our best to accommodate!
Whether you are attending Naples, Cape Town, or both, we would highly suggest renting a car. For Naples-- the airport is about 40-45 minutes away from where the hotels are located, and your own car is the best way to get around town. Uber/Lyft is absolutely an option, but you may find it pricier than just renting a car. For South Africa-- Once in Cape Town, it is easy to get around with uber and tour buses. However, the venue and other excursions are a bit of a drive, between 1 and 3.5 hours for different stops. Keep in mind, the roads are left-handed (like in England), so just be prepared for that!
We have made a Facebook group for everyone traveling from the US to Cape Town, where everyone can stay up-to-date on what events are happening when and where, travel tips and suggestions, etc. Here's the link, just ask for an invite if you aren't added already! https://www.facebook.com/groups/803820441494427/
The best, safest, most convenient spots to stay are the V&A Waterfront, City Bowl, Clifton, Camps Bay, Green Point, and Sea Point. You'll find a variety of hotels and Airbnbs, and all at a very reasonable price.
