Flight
Denver International Airport
Denver is the closest major airport to Vail, with plenty of flight times and airlines available. Flying in this way will require a two hour drive west to Vail. This is a straight shot once you get on I-70 West. Even on a major highway, the route is very scenic and includes multiple high mountain passes, goes by several world class ski resorts, and takes you through unique mountain towns.

Eagle County Regional Airport
Vail Valley does have its own airport, which is about 40 minutes from Vail. A potentially easier option if driving is an issue, however there are significantly less arrival/departure times available and the majority of incoming flights will have a holdover in Denver.
