FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 1st.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Guests should arrive to the gondola for the ceremony between 4-4:30pm (at the latest!)

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your kids, unfortunately due to space restrictions at our venue, we are unable to accommodate children outside of immediate family. We sincerely hope you understand this decision and can still take the opportunity to join us on our special day.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Mountain cocktail attire; wear what's appropriate and comfortable for an outdoor wedding. We recommend bringing a layer (coat or shawl) as it gets chilly at night and comfortable shoes as there is some walking involved from the gondola to the ceremony site and back to the reception area.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Because of our venue capacity, we’re only able to accommodate those guests whose names appear on the invitation. We hope you understand, and we can’t wait to celebrate together!

Question

Altitude Awareness

Answer

Vail sits at 8,000 feet above sea level, and if you're traveling from a lower elevation, you may feel the effects of the altitude. Most guests adjust just fine, but a little preparation can make the weekend even better. A few helpful tips: Arrive early if you can. If your schedule allows, spending a night in Denver before heading up to Vail can help your body acclimate more gradually. Hydrate and fuel up. The Colorado climate is very dry, so drink more water than you normally would and make sure you’re eating regularly. Go easy on alcohol. Alcohol can affect you more quickly at altitude and contributes to dehydration. Pace yourself and alternate with water. Listen to your body. Mild symptoms can include headache, fatigue, nausea, or dizziness. If you’re not feeling great, rest, hydrate, and let someone know. If necessary, going to a lower elevation can help. Your health and comfort mean everything to us. We want you feeling your best so we can celebrate all weekend together.
