Hotel
We don't have a block, but this is what we are recommending to be nearby!
Hotel
We have a room block at the iconic Hamilton Princess, which grants you up to 40% off standard rates. Our unique booking link offers a variety of room types to fit your preferences. We recommend booking at least Friday (6/7) to Tuesday (6/11) in order to enjoy all wedding festivities from our Friday evening Welcome Party in the Penthouse through Beach Club Day on Monday. You're welcome to extend your stay to explore more of the island we've come to love. The discounted room rate applies well before and after our wedding weekend. If you prefer to call the hotel instead of booking through the Passkey link below, please tell the reservation agent you are booking for the Godwin and Phillips wedding with the room block code GODW0524
Rental Car
We've got your transportation covered for all of our wedding weekend events. We'll also cover and arrange airport transportation for all coming in on Friday and all leaving on Tuesday. For your own adventures, you have several options, below. None of them are renting a normal car. One of the charming things about Bermuda is that tourists aren't allowed cars; even residents are limited to one per household. When you're there, notice the refreshing lack of large parking lots or decks. 1) Taxi -- The most familiar and easiest but quite expensive. 2) Hitch -- Bermuda's version of Uber. However, Bermuda is a small country and there aren't a ton of drivers available, especially in remote areas. 3) Twizy -- A what?! Ever wanted to feel like Fred Flintstone? These adorable "microcars" look like jelly-beans on wheels. Our Hamilton Princess hotel will rent you one: www.thehamiltonprincess.com/activities/twizy 4) Scooters -- We had a thrilling time driving a two person scooter all over the country, on the "wrong" side of the road no less! Think small motorcycle. It's not for the faint of heart but is an awesome, liberating adventure. There's a rental place right beside our Hamilton Princess hotel: www.smattscyclelivery.com When they ask if you've ever driven a motorcycle, just say yes like we did ;-)
