If you haven't experienced a cave before, this will blow your mind! If you have, it's not a must do. It takes ~30 minutes to go down into the relatively small cave system. We enjoyed Crystal Cave and heard it was much better than Fantasy Cave, so no need to do both.
The birthplace of the national drink, the Rum Swizzle, The Swizzle Inn is Bermuda's oldest pub. It's the closest thing to a dive bar that we found in Bermuda! We thoroughly enjoyed the fish sandwiches as a side to our entrees of Rum Swizzle. The Swizzle Inn is across the street from the Crystal Caves, so consider pairing the two.
If you make it across country to the historic and quaint St. George's (the only other municipality in Bermuda besides Hamilton), the Unfinished Church is a site to behold.
Very cool and lush walking trail that spans the island from end to end. Pearce got in his head that walking the trail would be a great way to check off several landmarks in one outing. Seven miles and a night fall later, we were stranded at the world's smallest drawbridge (Somerset Bridge) trying to find a way back to Hamilton. Turns out the buses only come around once per hour at night. Silly tourists!
Our favorite thing at the Royal Naval Dockyard, the minigolf holes are based on some of the most iconic golf holes in the world. Get a can (or two) of Dark 'n' Stormy and have at it.
We had a thrilling time driving a two person scooter all over the country, on the "wrong" side of the road no less! Think small motorcycle. It's not for the faint of heart but is an awesome, liberating adventure. There's a rental place right beside our Hamilton Princess hotel: www.smattscyclelivery.com When they ask if you've ever driven a motorcycle, just say yes like we did ;-)
