The Wedding Website of Lauren Inouye and Padraic Meehan

Lauren and Padraic met on the dating app Hinge in Spring 2024, when he was commuting weekly (every Tuesday to Wednesday) to DC from upstate New York for his job doing international cooperation with the AirForce. They were drawn together by a silly sense of humor and their shared curiosity and desire to explore the world, with both having lived abroad- Padraic in Japan, Brazil and the UK and Lauren in France, Indonesia and also the UK. After Lauren and "Mr. Tuesday Night" had been dating for six months, she went up to Niskayuna to meet his children Caitlin (now 8) and Eileasain (now 5, also "El"). Padraic's first wife had passed away two years prior, and the children were very welcoming to this fun new guest! Lauren and Padraic continued to see each other once a week until August 2025, when Padraic and the kids moved down to the DC area, choosing an apartment close to Lauren's office in Bethesda. He proposed during their Valentine's Day celebrations in 2026.
