No, but the Bethesda wedding venue is right next to the Grosvenor Strathmore metro station. Driving, metro'ing or taking an uber/lyft are all easy options. We do intend to organize a shuttle to the Saturday event, which will probably be about 35 minutes away from the wedding venue. There will not be any transport for the Stanford reception; it is easiest to drive.
No, we reserved a few hotel blocks to provide options (and believe we have their best rates) but if you prefer another hotel or want to book at one of those hotels using points/not through the block, that is fine! The wedding venue Strathmore Mansion is ~30 minutes away from downtown DC on the red line, so you can even stay in DC, but the wedding events will be in/near Bethesda, so it will be more convenient for most people to stay in Bethesda.
Yes. For the Bethesda wedding, you will be able to select your entree when you RSVP and you can also let me know. There will be vegetarian and vegan options, as well as a kid's meal. For the Stanford event, it will be a lunch buffet but let us know of any allergies/sensitivities!
