Summer cocktail. DC is warm so although the event will be in-doors with air-conditioning, lighter fabrics may be more comfortable. Celebratory outfits from around the world- lengas, ao dai, kebaya sarong, guyaberas, etc - are welcome.
We will have appetizers around 6:30 and dinner served at 7:30

Saturday Daytime Hang on the National Mall

This is an un-structured meet- up! Join us when you wish between 11 and 2ish to hang out together on the National Mall on the nation's 250th birthday. The Mall stretches from the Capitol Building to the Lincoln Memorial, with the Washington Monument half-way in-between. The main metro station is Smithsonian on the orange-blue line, but its not a far walk from Metro Center, Gallery-Place Chinatown or Judiciary Square on the red line. There are food trucks and vendors at multiple spots, and bathrooms at all the Smithsonian museums which are free to enter. More details to come.

This will be kid-friendly event with food and non-alcoholic beverages as well as beer and cocktails. There is a great playground. We will be outdoors, but with an open pavilion rooftop in the event of rain or strong sun. Shuttle transport will be provided from the Grosvenor Strathmore metro station (right by the wedding venue) starting at 4:15pm and going once an hour to/ from the Lone Oak brewery. You are also welcome to drive with your own designated driver and car.
