Flight
Denver International Airport
Fly to Denver if you want to come early and spend time in Boulder, Denver, or surrounding areas before heading to Crested Butte. Our venue is about a 4.5 hour drive from DIA.

Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport
This airport is closest to Crested Butte, but you will have to fly through Denver (DIA) either way.
Shuttle

There is a free shuttle in Crested Butte operating between the downtown area and the condos area near the venue. Please hop on the free shuttle to avoid overcrowding at the venue! Go to mtnexp.org for maps and shuttle times.

Camping
We highly recommend camping in Crested Butte! Even if it is for just one night, it will be worth it. There is plenty of camping in the area! Our favorite site is the Oh Be Joyful campground, which is about a 20-30 minute drive from the venue. Some sites require advanced reservations, be sure to look into it before traveling to Colorado.

High Altitude Tips
Crested Butte, CO is at 8,909 feet above sea level so it is important for our traveling guests to be prepared... HOW TO PREVENT ALTITUDE SICKNESS Spend the first night at a lower elevation in Denver to acclimate. Stay hydrated: drinking plenty of water is the number one way to help your body adjust easily to our higher altitude. Before traveling, start increasing the amount of water you drink to 3 to 4 liters per day. Monitor your alcohol intake: the effects will feel stronger here! * Enjoy Yourself – Don’t let anything you hear about the altitude scare you. The air is just thinner and dryer. Just follow these simple tips and you will very likely not even notice the difference.
