For the ceremony/reception, cocktail/formal. Think dresses (any length is fine) and dress pants with a sport coat. Our color scheme involves blues, greens, and neutral colors, so feel free to wear similar or matching colors. For any other wedding events, dress casually!
We don't know yet! This is a placeholder. But it is a 10-15 minute tram ride up to High Camp where our ceremony is, so expect to arrive to the tram in time.
Weather depending, the wedding will be outdoors at High Camp. Guests will take the tram to up to High Camp where the ceremony and cocktail hour will be on the upper deck and the reception will be indoors. Please expect that it could be colder on the mountain than it is in the village, so if you're unsure, a jacket may come in handy! If there are storms or it is too windy for the tram to operate, we have a secondary location in the village.
This question applies to very few of you - but yes! Your child will be included on the RSVP. However, the alcohol will be flowing and the music may be PG-13 by 8 or 9pm, so do with that what you will :)
You didn't ask, but we're answering - some may experience altitude sickness in Tahoe (for instance, Lauren gets altitude sickness and Matt does not). To help avoid this, you can ask your doctor for a prescription for Diamox which you can start taking a day before you arrive and then through your trip. Hydrating before and during your trip will also help. Also, we will have an open bar, but keep in mind that 1 drink at altitude = about 2 drinks at sea level, so party accordingly!
