A twist on Ross & Rachel …

This is their love story, which took a lot of twists and turns, but if you’ve been directed to this site, you already know it…which version, however, may depend on the storyteller. But all you really need to know is, two people met on the Fortina rooftop seven years ago & quickly formed a connection. What developed, was a lasting friendship that continued even though Lauren and Mark were living on opposite coasts. Lauren had no intentions of leaving her new life in LA but fate had other plans. A global pandemic that shut down the world & froze her industry, led Lauren’s Dad to fly to LA and drive cross country with her and her fur babies back home to CT. Father's must know best because upon moving back, the timing seemed to be right for a friendship with chemistry to finally be explored between Lauren and Mark. Friends have said they didn’t know what was going on but for someone to get a man hesitant of traveling on planes all of sudden flying across the country and to the Caribbean, they all knew it meant something. The universe may have known long before they did how their family was meant to be by blessing them with their miracle baby boy, Tyler John (aka TJ) who has opened up all of our hearts. While at first co-parenting as best friends, the relationship organically grew and it wasn’t long before they realized that each other and the family they were building, was all both of them had ever wanted. When you know you want to spend and build your life with someone, you want that to start immediately so it felt like forever for Lauren until he made it official! But worth the wait as Mark pulled off a surprise, sneaking TJ into a suit and returning on one knee at a hotel and restaurant, The Rose Tavern, that has a special bond tied to Lauren’s late father, Joseph Garan. Mark’s speech was interrupted by TJ reaching out with the ring box yelling, “Mommy, mommy, we got you a big big ring” followed by a proud smile & pause allowing Dad to get out the words, “Will you marry me?” And that’s why you all are here. The three of them can’t wait to make their family official at the Rosewood in Bermuda, a family vacation spot that is near and dear to their hearts. They can’t think of a better way to celebrate than by creating memories in a place they love with the friends and family they love as well. A few of whom were there on the very first night this all began…
