Talk about love in a hopeless place... we met in the one and only city of Las Vegas at the Marquee Day Club in the infamous Cosmopolitan Hotel. It was Kyle's birthday celebration with his best friend Matthew Frank (Groomsman) and Lauren's best friend Stacey Malcolm's (Bridesmaid) bachelorette when our worlds collided. Picture us walking past each other along the side of the pool, loud DJ music and partying happening all around us, and Lauren stops dead in her tracks to say "your eyes are beautiful" to Kyle (if you know, you know). Kyle didn't let that moment slip away and from there, a 15-minute conversation ensued before Lauren had to return to her friend group that was leaving the party. Thankfully, numbers were exchanged which commenced their long-distance dating journey between NYC and Boston. A few weeks after our initial encounter, and once Kyle was back from a long trip to Portugal and the Netherlands, Kyle decided taking Lauren to a USA vs. Ghana soccer game in Hartford, CT was the perfect first date. Lauren wanted to make some first date impressions of her own, not full well knowing Kyle's love of food yet, and took him to get some infamous New Haven apizza (where she officially won his heart). It was clear the sparks were still flying and that this was something special... Fast forward to now, 7+ years later, from NYC/Boston to Denver to now outside of Los Angeles with our sweet pup, Cosmo (named after the hotel where it all began of course!) with enough adventures in between to last a lifetime. We are thrilled and grateful to celebrate our forever with all of our loved ones -- you have each shaped us, made us who we are, shared incredible memories with us, and have touched our journey in the most special way.
