FAQs

The Wedding Website of Lauren Anderson and Jonathan Rogers
Feel free to reach out to us if you have any additional questions but we will try to get to the most frequent here!
Question

What does it cost to stay at camp for the weekend?

Answer

Nothing. Zero dollars. Zip. Zilch. Nada. Seriously, it's our treat. Just bring your bedding and you'll be all set. Please note cabins are ONLY for Friday and Saturday nights.

Question

How do we book a cabin?

Answer

To book a cabin simply copy and paste the following link into your web browser then answer a few questions on the Google form: https://forms.gle/xKfa7pxwi5fpRejL9 Please note that we have booked out the entire camp for the weekend and are personally assigning cabins to you ourselves. You will receive a cabin assignment from us when we receive all our RSVPs. You do not need to contact the camp to book anything. We have more than enough space for everyone who wants to stay.

Question

What do these cabins look like?

Answer

Check out our cabin photos in the Gallery section and also feel free to check out Camp Tonawandah's website. We personally checked out every single cabin and tried out the bunks. They are incredibly comfortable. If you remember the thin camp bunks from your childhood, we assure you that Camp Tonawandah has upped their game with thick comfortable beds. All we ask is that you bring your own bedding.

Question

What kind of events will be held at camp over the weekend?

Answer

We will have the lakefront with a lifeguard on duty both Friday and Saturday featuring a water blob (what's a blob you may ask? Have you ever seen the 90's classic Heavyweights? If not, do yourself the favor), water trampoline, water slides, paddle boards, canoes, and more! Additionally, we will host a karaoke night after the welcome party and bonfires by the waterfall each evening and we may open up the zipline/ropes course if enough people are interested.

Question

How easy is it to get to camp from the airport?

Answer

The camp is an easy 20-25 minute drive from the Asheville Regional Airport if you are renting a car or using Uber/Lyft. There are two entrances to camp which will be marked with signage. We recommend following our directions instead of GPS which will lead you to the Service Entrance. Please look for our signage leading you to the main entrance.

Question

How far is camp from Asheville?

Answer

We are so stoked people want to visit Asheville! We love it and it is such a special place to both of us. Asheville is a 30-40 minute drive from camp due to camp being on back roads. Once you hit I-26 it is a very easy straight shot into Asheville. Feel free to come and go as you please!

Question

Can we still come to activities or events at camp if we decide to stay in an AirBnB or hotel instead of onsite in a cabin?

Answer

Absolutely! We respect everyone's decisions as to their sleeping arrangements. We will be setting up an RSVP page on our schedule section of the website to let us know what activities with food you will be attending so we know we have enough for everyone. Absolutely everyone is invited to all events and activities regardless of where you lay your head at night. Feel free to come and go as you please!

Question

We have questions. Who do we contact?

Answer

Lauren's number is 828-273-1570 and Jonathan's number is 734-674-8577. Please reach out.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

It's a summer camp so we want you to be comfortable. Wear whatever you feel good in for the wedding itself. Our welcome party is "dress like you're going to your favorite music festival" themed, which is optional.
