Welcome to Wed Fest!

We met at our favorite spot, the rail (front row, hence our website name of frontrowforever) at an Avett Brothers Show. Jonathan's buddy, Wes, convinced him to go to New Orleans for the St. Patrick's day double-header shows and Jonathan held Lauren's spot while she went to go grab a beer. She knew he was a good dude for not stealing her spot. They met back up after the next nights show, Lauren still wearing a green wig from the parade. They stayed in touch, met back up at the Atlanta shows a few months later and knew there was something special there. The rest is history.

Jonathan proposed in Asheville, NC, while visiting to meet Lauren's family and see their favorite band, The Avett Brothers. They ventured out on a hike to the top of Craggy Pinnacle. It had been raining the entire way, but suddenly, the light broke through. Lauren turned around and Jonathan was on one knee. Due to nerves, neither of them remember what he said, but it was perfect. They toasted over a Pisgah Pale Ale and watched as the fog rolled up the mountain over an epic rainy evening sunset.

Community is everything to us! We can think of nothing better to kick off our marriage than spending a weekend with our friends and family in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains where Lauren grew up. We are throwing our own music festival themed summer camp from Friday, September 1 to Sunday, September 3; Wedding ceremony and Reception will be Saturday starting at 5:00. There will be free accommodations at camp, tons of local beer, our favorite local treats, and a lifetime of memories, fun, blob jumping, ziplining, lake playing, bonfires, waterfall hikes, and more. We are so honored to spend it with all of you.
